Quick question, Peter Heppner has been given an hour on the Main Stage Saturday afternoon, but only has one solo album, which although a stunner, doesn't necessarily have the strength to be played all the way through at a major festival. So the question is this, do we think Heppner is going to be playing some Wolfsheim stuff as well during the set, or have people already seen a Heppner solo show?

I just found some videos of Peter doing a radio interview, they're in German though. I thought some people here might enjoy seeing them as well. (I also noticed he was wearing what seemed to be a wedding ring in the videos, and I know there was a "debate" about it before because he's rather private about personal life)

Just popping in to say hello to you all, I got on board the wolfsheim bandwagon about 2 years ago, when I first heard "Once in A Lifetime". A German friend in LA had in on her myspace so I looked up the band and came away purchasing "Spectators" and "Casting Shadows"/ I have since located "Leben....I Feel You" as well as "Auf Gold" mit Milu and Kim Saunders.
Even though I love Wolfsheim, I have to say that I am very excited about Peter Heppner and the upcoming solo LP. It was Peter all along that I have loved to listen to his voice is incredible.
The fact that there is no age differece is a bonus too for me hehe. So a cheery hello to all, as another favourite person has said to me in a song once: "The Best is Yet To Come".

Peter is going to be eating those words. It seems some of his fans have turned on him, the German forum is rife with nasty shit being posted, I'm deeply ashamed of these people, they range from whining about no new DVD to pretty much all out rants against Peter...I'm really shocked by this. They should be lucky he makes music at all, what is wrong with people. They seem to be of the mind that Peter owes them an explanation about there being no more Wolfsheim and no DVD etc...really rude stuff. It's one things to think this stuff, and another to post it in a forum devoted to Peter and WH...
seems the best fans in the world have now turned on him, how...nice :(

Hi there folks,
I am wondering if anyone knows where I can find English translations to a lot of Wolfsheim and Peter Heppner's songs that are in German (this including anything he's worked on with someone else). Or if any German-speaking people would like to get crazy and post a bunch of translations here.
It would be so great to see translations of:
"Kunstliche Welten", by Wolfsheim
"Die Flut" by Joachim Witt, with Peter Heppner
"Glasgarten" by Goethes Erben, with Peter Heppner
"Eisenherz" by Joachim Witt
I'm studying German and I love ANY song with Peter Heppner's voice, so the songs are really helping me with my studying! Although it is true that I can now say things like "Bitterkeit mein dunkels hertz umspult", but I have no idea how to ask for the time or for the whereabouts of, say, the toilets. (apology: I have no idea how to type an umlaut on an American computer)
Anyone have any idea?

has two wolfsheim songs on their sites "radio" I'm impressed. Always had Davey pegged as a Wolfsheim fan, now it's confirmed. They are of course OIAL and Blind, but it's better than nothing!!

Soooo, I have managed to get the "Ken manage" demo from 1988 as well as the "any but pretty demo" from 1989. It's really cool to see how they started out, keep in mind these tapes are almost 20 years old so the sound quality leaves a bit to be desired. Sound aside, it's really cool to hear tape quality from the 80's...makes me feel all nostalgic. "always" is AMAZING!!! Peter sounds sooooo sexxxxxy.
